I can present 4 main spheres I’m good at.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

As one of my teachers in university was saying:  “manager is the one who should know everything and be able to organize it the best way possible “. For 6 years in middle and high school I was leader of the school class, helping to organise participation in different events, trips, competitions and get things done in time.

After, I’ve studied business management for almost 8 years all together and was happy to get more theoretical knowledge about it. Another big challenge was waiting for me 3 weeks after I joined the company in India. I was already organizing company presentation in DOMOTEX trade fair in Hannover, Germany, as well as being in charge of delivering Indian handmade carpets from Germany via Italy to our customers in Ukraine. My team were mostly Indians who almost didn’t speak English, but a great relief was that my boss spoke Russian, as he was studying in Ukraine.

Here, in Czech republic, we are quite often organizing trips with my friends, where I’m usually taking care about accommodations, tickets and plans what to do in our travel destination. Recent trip I was organising, was a 2 days hiking trip in Czech National park not far from Austrian borders.

Right now, for more than 2 years, I’m a team leader for 9 customer care and marketing agents dedicated to Western Europe markets, some of them are working remotely. My everyday routine is to distribute tasks, make sure all work is done, organise schedule, but first of all to motivate, educate and prevent escalated situation from happening. I enjoy doing it everyday and to solve every question with the smile on my face.

ONLINE MARKETING

The sphere which is getting bigger and more extensive every day if not a minute, but yet that is what I like about it the most. My motto is learning by clicking.

I know almost all spheres of online marketing and have certain experience in each (starting from content creation in WordPress and Webnode CMSs, writing and  sending engaging newsletters, creating content for company social networks pages to paid promotion, including affiliate management). I can understand why HTML code is behaving weirdly and fix it. I know what is CSS and how to determine color of that .header container. Possibly, I won’t create my own website from scratch yet, but “learning by doing” is my second nature. And I for sure know how to make website appearing  in search results on good position and how SEO magic works. I can analyze all data in Excel and present them in user-friendly manner. Next step I want to take is towards MySQL and BigData.

CUSTOMER CARE

With more than 5 years of Customer Care experience, I can answer all users question before they even think they have one and understand what user needs from literally 2 words email and solve it successfully without any further asking. I’m keen on Customer Growing Success idea and love helping users to grow up and develop their businesses. At the same time, I understand if you have a great product and intuitively understandable design, you release new features before customer can think he needs it, solving bugs with the same speed and you have a lot of educational material, you barely need a lot of Customer Care agents. I know how to protect company from customers extremism and can be hard as a rock or soft and gentle if necessary.

TRANSLATION

Although, I got one of my diplomas in this field, I rather treat it as bonus and not like a task I can earn money from. I usually translate from English and Czech to Russian, but only from Russian to English. I can also translate from German to Russian if I have appropriate dictionaries and enough time.

Now, I’m the only one responsible for Webnode (CMS) localization to the Russian language, translating it from English or Czech, including proofreading.

I also spend some of my time localizing Zoner (quite often called Czech analog to Lightroom) from English/Czech to Russian.
